THE STORY OF STUFF
Introduction
The STORY OF STUFF is very long and very complex . In this video we can see some of the chains for the stuff from the raw materials to the end goods. And we can see how the material's factory is working and affects  the natural life and the original people .
We come to the customers , the last chain in the stuff story and the temptation to buy the goods  and more goods is high . After they use it they throw it in the garbage, We will face big trouble with the mountains of garbage , and pollutions IF WE DON’T CONTROL THIS PROCESS.

Extraction
First thing in the stuff story and in the chain of the process it is extraction of raw materials. According to the final product if it wood for example they start cut the forests and take the big trees to the factory. In one minute they cutting about 5 football pitches , it's mean in one week they cut about 40000 km2  in one year more than the total Saudi Arabia area.
In the extraction of wood which  happens to the nature this is a great injustice because cutting trees is not equal with reconstruction of the forests. It does  not allow them to rehabilitate it self .
Production
The second step in stuff story is production . Production is defined as which transferring the raw material from  natural case or state to form factor  . for human consummation . First step movement the material from their sources  and but in the factory with air and water to generate the energy
The problem is not about  consumption of nature materials , but to  create a harmful environment .The production line needs of natural  materials like oxygen, water, oil  and many of many chemical substances and toxic  , This materials when it exhausted from the environment , leave behind repellent environment , without any life resources.
Distribution
The distribution process  and  storing  products  require many and big equipment .This equipment when it's doing its job ,withdraws a lot of energy and power  to move and doing its job ,Each type of stuff needs special  service , some items need cooling  and heavy vehicle , on the other ways those equipment generate a lot of  toxic substances and contaminated  gases. This process moves products to the consumer to buy,  these products come from all over the world .
Consumption
The last chain  it’s the consumer all those process it's for the consumer the weak at chain port, is to create more stuff and get more temptation to the people to buy more stuff , Without caring about the surrounding environment the customers bow to the offers and sheep prices and buy everything in the way .After that they throw it in the garbage  and buy more consumable stuff. We while face a big trouble with a mountain of waste , the toxic waste starts showing and the serious diseases which affects our bodies .And the influence of physiological and health, is strong  apparent in our communities .What can we do ?IF we not reduce our consumption and take things seriously we will be heading for the abyss .
Disposal
The disposal its largest crime after the extraction in the right environment." Virtually all the resources flowing through the materials economy eventually end up as to be disposed somewhere"(Stuff of story ,2007) . those what we toking about it , where the toxic material and solid waste goes . the earth will not analyzes quickly  the  consumable materials . for example to analyze  the plastic need more than 200 years to analyzing . The waste piles of the remains of the old batteries and plastics, paper and empty drink cans ,etc….
It's a serious problem around the world. While non-existent as waste collection schemes in rural areas in most countries, such schemes are available in large cities and industrialized countries . Even on the surface of the moon, they tend to leave the dirt behind them .
In fact, we can recycle and reuse most our waste so much .So that the process of recycling waste in landfills.
Waste from large cities turned into a source of livelihood for many people. However, many of the remaining materials cannot be reused. The question is: What is the period of time required for the degradation of our waste and disappearance? Some
Answers to this question may be terrifying.
UAE Consumption
Became the talk about activating the issue of consumer protection in the UAE should be imposed that seen in the economic arena, most notably the growing phenomena of rising prices at rates reaching for example in food and consumer goods to 20% over last year, and spread cases of commercial fraud, and consumer fraud. It's interesting that in a country like the UAE numbness voracious consumer culture of the citizens, there is only one association only concerned with consumer protection, the "Emirates Association for Consumer Protection"
We spend money on luxury items and events is not necessary, in order to show off and love of history and to compensate the lack of certain social .

AIR FILTRATION

Introduction
Air filtration in the UAE. Studies show that contaminants that are in the indoor air that you breathe can cause short and long term health problems over a period of time. Main contaminants that are involved in indoor air are bioaerosols which include pathogens and allergens, etc.
Some of the health effects range from acute effects such as allergic reactions to chronic effects such as lung cancer. All of these effects can be prevented with the help of an air purifier.
Early history
Air filtration was first discovered by John and Charles Dean in 1823 when they patented their new smoke-protecting device. It allowed for firefighters to be protected from the acrid smoke and dangerous chemicals in the air when they fought fires. Later, that device was adapted for use by underwater divers.
Around the same time, a man named Augustus Siebe was marketing his own version of a diving respirator, which comprised of a helmet and a series of small tubes. A tube on one side of the helmet pumped fresh air in, while a tube on the other side allowed bad air to escape.
Mr. Siebe later went on to found Siebe, Gorman, and Co., a company that would be instrumental in developing gas masks for the war effort in 1914.
In 1849 Lewis Haslett get patent  with a great idea. he called an “Inhaler or Lung Protector”. (Haslett. 2007). His new device was an improvement on the old air breathing devices because it contained a special filter used to get rid of dust.
Development
"A system is described for the collection of volatiles produced by plants and insects that minimizes stresses on the plant or insect in an environment that is free from chemical impurities. Air entering a volatile collection chamber containing insects and/or plants was purified using a nonwoven fabric medium infused with charcoal"( Heath . 1992) .When three layers of this material were used, the total amount of impurities detected by gas chromatography was less than 40 ng/hr at a collection rate of 1 L/min. The air filtration system can maintain this level of air purification for 96 hr at an air flow of 0.43 m/sec, or a total volume of approximately 750,000 L of air. The air filtration system did not alter the relative humidity of the purified air compared to the relative humidity of ambient air. A multiport collector system was developed for use with the insect volatile collection system and enabled up to three samples to be collected without disturbing the system.

Modern developments
Models and theories of airflow are described, and this description is followed by an account of the various mechanisms of particle capture by mechanical means and by electric forces. Electrically charged materials that are, or could be, used in respirator filters are described and classified according to the methods by which they become charged. Ways of measuring the charge level are summarized, and the stability of electric charge on filters is discussed with respect to storage, exposure to harsh environmental conditions and use. Measurements of filtration efficiency using monodisperse laboratory aerosols, industrial aerosols and standard aerosols are put into their various perspectives. The review ends with a brief account of the place of coarse mechanical filters in industrial hygiene.
Air filter elements of various types are used for filtering the intake air.  MAHLE has meanwhile introduced new developments aimed at achieving higher efficiency and dust holding capacities. To this end, multi-layer filter materials made from cellulose, melt blown and nanofibers as well as completely synthetic non-woven materials have already been optimized for mass production.

Conclusion
In conclusion, there are many resources to air pollution that cause health risks. However, there are several ways for air filtration to live in a healthy life full of fresh air, but we have to cooperate to keep the air clean from contaminated material.

The Masdar Project

Saudi border has stronger winds than Europe s. that why Abu Dhabi government plans to build big project in the region by Mubadala  one of AD companies .the project  aims to exploitation the winds . big special blades moves huge turbine to generate the energy and the electricity. "We are under some pressure because the Government has announced the 7 per cent target by 2020, so we have to move in big steps", YEE, A. (2011, April 27). the wind farm project it will spend (DH734m )  .
Because to produce 1miga watts it take $2m , that means will cost $200m.  After two years the electricity start coming from the project . If asking about UAE .I think there is little chance to generate the energy in UAE , because the nature of the region .
